Windows-Style Drag and Drop
SetSecure includes standard Windows-style drag and drop functionality for file management:
- Single files or folders – instantly move or copy single files or folders
- Multiple files or folders - move or copy unlimited multiple files or folders; users can select a continuous range of files using the standard ‘shift key’ function or randomly select multiple files using the ‘ctrl key’ function
Multiple File Upload
SetSecure multiple file upload function combined with our drag and drop functionality overcomes the limitations of conventional FTP services by providing:
- Single folder - drag and drop selection and upload of a single or unlimited number of files from a specific folder
- Multiple folder – drag and drop selection and upload of multiple files from an unlimited number of different folders and sources (hard drive, network, or both) simultaneously
Document Sharing
To share documents with other users, simply upload them to an existing or new folder. Whenever a file has been updated, SetSecure takes care that the latest version is displayed, ensuring that everyone on the team is looking at, and talking about, the same thing. SetSecure also allows users with the correct permissions to access all previous versions.
Multiple Screen Views
The system provides a set of standard views:
- List view with thumbnail images - displays the contents of the selected folder in a list format including key data fields and a thumbnail or preview image for each item
- Thumbnail view - displays the contents of the selected folder in a “slide-sorter” format so that users can quickly scan though multiple images page by page
- Preview - displays the selected image or preview of the document cover page with tabs for the general details and custom metadata associated with the file. An additional tab for technical data is displayed automatically when an image file is selected
- Full details - displays all information for the selected document or image with tabs for the general, version, technical and custom metadata details associated with the file
